30 for 30 The talent you wish you had/ A photo of you without makeup

Alright, to get back on track with the 30 for 30 posts which I have abandoned somewhat recently, I thought I'd get a couple out of the way at the same time again (30 posts on random topics is a lot more work than I'd originally anticipated!)

To start the ball rolling- The talent you wish you had

Well this one was very easy for me. The one talent I wish I had, and have always wished I had, is to be able to dance. Without a shadow of a doubt, I am the world's worst dancer. I have absolutely no rhythm and even less coordination which means I always end up dancing like somebody's drunk dad at a wedding, even though in my head I'm Sarah Johnson from 'Save the Last Dance' (surely everybody's favourite dance film reference?) headscarf and all.

I took ballet classes for about 5 years when I was younger, and have the clearest memory of being on-stage aged about 7 years old as a cygnet in Swan Lake, and not knowing what the hell I was doing, or which way I was supposed to go. So yeah, this white girl can't dance but she sure would love to be able to!
(And in a related aside, my dancing "skills" are so bad, we're considering doing the Pulp Fiction dance-off jive for the first dance at our wedding in September, just because it involves standing still and doing some cool moves like the snorkel, and the back stroke rather than any actual choreography!)

And secondly- A photo of you without make-up

I guess this one is supposed to strike fear into the hearts of bloggers everywhere, but to be honest, you'd probably be hard pressed to tell the difference between a photo of me with or without make up. I don't really wear that much make up, I guess I'm too lazy to spend hours putting it on and then reapplying it throughout the day. At most I will wear some bare mineral foundation, mascara and a lip slick, so I'm not really on the shortlist to be Sephora's best customer.
Here is an old photo I found on my computer, with my pale English skin and lack of lipstick/eye make up in all it's unmade up  glory

So there you have it, thanks for playing along and if you want to check out some other 30 for 30 posts these lovely bloggers are all taking part as well: Home Sweet Sarah Sensibly SassyBarbettiReady for 30, Maura LessaMy Grand Illusions and Just Expressive
